Methodology

Sources: Charter Pulse continuously scrapes availability calendars from Click&Boat, Boatsetter, Sailo, Nautal, and Macrocruise. Calendar data is captured daily and stored with timestamps.

Calculation: Occupancy is the ratio of booked days to available days in a given period. A day is "booked" when a calendar entry is blocked or the listing disappears from availability searches on consecutive days.

Limitations: Data reflects listings on tracked platforms only. Private charters and direct bookings are not captured. Figures are population medians — individual vessel performance varies significantly.
